Week 14 Waiver Wire

Things get hard at this point in the season with FAAB budgets running dry and the lack of talent available however here are a few names of guys we think you should consider trying to scoop up if you are desperate.

DeVante Parker, WR

Coming off IR and not playing since Week 8, Parker played in 71% of snaps and caught all 5 of his targets. Not bad for his first game back, but he does head into his bye week. This could be a good time to get him cheaper since no one will be going out to grab a guy who won’t help them this week. He can be viewed as a flex play after the bye week as long as Will Fuller remains out.

Week 13 stats: 8.7 points (5 catches 6 targets 62 yards)

FAAB Bid: $8 – $16

KJ Osborn, WR

Adam Thielen went down early in Week 13 and Osborn took the chance to be the WR2 behind Justin Jefferson. He saw 7 targets. catching 4 of them for 47 yards and a TD. With Thielen missing Week 14 and possibly more than that, Osborn slides right in that WR2 role. With teams trying to lock down Jefferson, Osborn could be a sneaky add and help you make that final playoff push

Week 13 stats: 12.7 points (4 catches 7 targets 47 yards 1 TD)

FAAB Bid: $7 – $12

Russell Gage, WR

Gage has been up and down all season, but the last two weeks he has posted double digit fantasy outings as the Falcons, somehow, hang around the NFC Wild Card picture. If they plan to win moving forward, Gage will need to be involved. However, he plays Carolina this week, so I’d temper my expectations in Week 14, but after that his schedule gets a bit easier.

Week 13 stats: 16.5 points (11 catches 12 targets 130 yards)

FAAB Bid: $4 – $10

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, WR

Julio has been a disaster and AJB is still on the IR, neither player may make an impact in week 14 so we can understand the need to get a WR you should have volume to produce.

Week 13 stats: BYE

FAAB Bid: $4 – $7

Dontrell Hilliard, RB

With JT on a bye, Hilliard playing a key role at a scarce position JT owners may want to think about scooping this kid up.

Week 13 stats: BYE

FAAB Bid: $3 – $8

D’Onta Foreman, RB

Is it Foreman or Hillard the back to own for the Titans? Well, I believe it is both. Both had great games before the bye against a hard Pats D and both had over 100 total yards in that game. I believe it will continue being an even split with Foreman as the early down back. Both are worth waiver claims and both can be viewed as back-end flex plays in Week 14 against the Jaguars.

Week 13 stats: BYE

FAAB Bid: $3 – $7

Tyler Conklin, TE

Theilen is hurt and Conklin is looking like a target monster for Cousins for those who are streaming TEs Conklin is an excellent option and those starving for players he can serve as a solid flex play with a decent floor.

Week 13 stats: 9.1 points (7 catches 9 targets 56 yards)

FAAB Bid: $3 – $5

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR

Not a huge MVS fan, but we must add him on this waiver article. Green bay had their bye week in Week 13, so he was brushed under the rug, but with 19 total targets in his last 2 games, that is what I want from a WR that Aaron Rodgers throws to. MVS is known for the big-play, boom-or-bust player, but with him now getting a bunch of targets is something I love. Volume is king and he is still a guy who can take it 70 yards to the house.

Week 13 stats: BYE

FAAB Bid: $3 – $5
