The fantasy football season is hurdling towards playoff times and we are still dealing with multiple injuries and low owned players going off. We will help you throughout the season decide who to pick up and how much FAAB to bid on each player. The waiver wire is a big part of how you win your league, so don’t miss out on these players!
George Pickens, WR
The argument that Kenny Pickett can’t support a top receiver is simply wrong. Pickens has posted double digit points each of the last few weeks and should figure to continue to enjoy similar success in the weeks ahead. People will point to Diontae when making the case against Steeler WRs.. but at only 65% owned you could be picking up a mainstay in your fantasy lineup in Pickens if he keeps up the success he’s had of late.
Week 11 Stats: 16.30 points (6 tgts, 4 rec, 84 rec yds, 1 TD)
FAAB Bid: $8-$15
Joshua Palmer, WR
With Mike Williams again set to miss time with a reaggravated ankle injury, Palmer should slot right back in to a starting role in this offense. He looked great playing opposite Keenan Allen this past week, so no reason to expect anything other than a repeat performance in Week 12. If Williams plays he takes a hit to his value, but I don’t see Williams suiting up this week, making Palmer a must own and a must start.
Week 11 Stats: 26.60 points (10 tgts, 8 rec, 106 rec yds, 2 TDs)
FAAB Bid: $8 – $12
Darius Slayton, WR
With Wan’Dale Robinson finished for the season after tearing his ACL this past week, Darius Slayton is the de facto next man up in the Giants passing attack. The G-Men have suffered a lot of injuries the past couple weeks on both sides of the ball, but Slayton has been the one to step up in the offense when needed most. I would expect to continue to see targets head his way, and at this point in the season that’s all you can hope for from a fantasy perspective.
Week 11 stats: 11.10 points (10 tgt, 5 rec, 86 rec yds att)
FAAB Bid: $6 – $12
Zay Jones, WR
Jones was dropped by a lot of teams last week during his bye, and it shows, plummeting him to a 19% ownership in fantasy leagues. However, he’s quietly had a very solid flex play with WR2 upside type season. You could do a lot worse than him as far as stashing talent goes, and to add to this he faces Baltimore, Detroit and Tennessee as you make your playoff push. He’s a guy who can snag you 8-12 points consistently, and he’s on the field for almost every offensive snap, I’d be happy to buy shares of that.
Week 11 stats: Bye Week
FAAB Bid: $4 – $10
Kyren Williams, RB
Henderson left the game early and did not return due to a knee injury, leaving the Rams backfield with very few remaining options. At this point its either Williams, Rivers, or Akers… none of which blow the doors off…but opportunity is king and Williams should at least have a shot at some touches down the stretch.
Week 11 stats: 4.90 points (7 att, 36 rush yds, 2 tgt, 1 rec, 8 yds)
FAAB Bid: $4 – $8
