Week 1 – BookBurners

WAS/LAC Under 45.5 – Washington comes into this game with 1 of the leagues top defenses. A true super bowl caliber defense. Factor that in with a slightly hobbled Austin Ekeler and an entire charger offense who sat out the preseason and we can fully expect the football team to hold the chargers under 20. The charger defense is also not to be overlooked. The return of Derwin James should vault this defense into the top 10 this season. Chris Harris should be matched up on Terry McLaurin most of the day and should keep him to a relatively slow start to his season. Expect this game to be a dog fight filled with short runs, screens and quick underneath passes. I expect this game to finish 17-14 Washington. Neither team gets to 20 points and this game safely stays under the total.

GB -3.5 – Neutral site game, we expect Rodgers and Adam’s to tear it up this season and it starts with game 1. NO is a wild card with no MT and year 1 game 1 without brees. Not the best first game matchup for them and no home crowd to help them. We don’t see NO keeping up with GB and could easily be a 10 point packer win.

Cory Davis over 4.5 catches – Davis is the veteran of the receiver group and seems to be the guy Wilson trusts most. We definitely think Elijah Moore is a threat but for week 1 and at plus money how can you not like Zach Wilson’s safety blanket to record 5 catches. He was the go to target in the preseason for Wilson especially on got to have it plays. Expect Davis to get peppered today.
