Week 11 Waiver Wire

The fantasy football season is here and we are already dealing with multiple injuries and low owned players going off. We will help you throughout the season decide who to pick up and how much FAAB to bid on each player. The waiver wire is a big part of how you win your league, so don’t miss out on these players!

Christian Watson, WR

Spend it all! Burn the ships! Let’s riiiiiide! Watson had a huge coming out party on Sunday against one of the leagues (supposed) best defenses. 4 catches on 8 targets for 107 yards and 3 TDs… and a couple of the catches were REALLY nice grabs. Looks like Rodgers has finally found someone he trusts in this offense and is willing to throw the ball up to him. Watson should be a big target this week, after leaving Allen Lazard in the dust in Week 10. Don’t forget, we are past the NFL trade deadline… no more help is coming for this GB offense, they have to make it work with the guys they’ve got.

Week 10 Stats: 30.70 points (8 tgts, 4 rec, 107 rec yds, 3 TDs)

FAAB Bid: $14-$22

Kadarius Toney, WR

Mecole Hardman, Out. JuJu, scrambled egg brains. Skyy Moore, missing in action. Insert who? Kadarius Toney. 57 yards and a TD and a couple totes on the ground were enough to catapult him to 17 fantasy points this week. With Mecole still questionable for Week 11 and JuJu likely not returning to the field very quickly as a guy who has had concussions in the past, I would look for Toney to continue to find ways to contribute and make an impact in one of the league’s best offenses. I would spend up for Toney now, before he doubles in cost next week.

Week 10 stats: 17.00 points (5 tgts, 4 rec, 57 rec yds, TD, 2 att, 33 rush yds)

FAAB Bid: $11 – $16

Rachaad White, RB

Fournette just doesn’t look like a guy who wants to play football anymore. White seems to give the team a better spark week in and week out, and Fournette looks slow and disinterested on the field. Lenny also picked up a knock in Week 10, a hip pointer, that while not serious, removed him from the Week 10 contest. If he in unable to go in Week 11, White should be ready to seize the day and take the RB1 spot for himself once and for all. But even if Lenny does play or if he is limited, I would look for White to be involved a lot and expect to see him primed to usurp the once great Fournette.

Week 10 stats: 10.50 points (22 att, 105 rush yds)

FAAB Bid: $10 – $14

Elijah Mitchell, RB

18 for 89 with a couple targets and a 35% snap share is about the most anyone could have hoped for in Mitchell’s first week back now that CMC is in SF. But I think anyone seeing those numbers is pretty damn happy, even if you started Mitchell (like I did). He out carried CMC on the ground 18 to 14, he out earned him on the ground 89 to 38, and he only got beat in the air 6 targets to 2. CMC managed to get the goal line TD… but had that gone to Mitchell we could be looking at an RB controversy on our hands! In any case, add Elijah Mitchell because he is far from done in SF if this week is any indicator.

Week 10 stats: 9.30 points (18 att, 89 rush yds, 2 tgts, 1 rec, -1 rec yds)

FAAB Bid: $9 – $13

Isiah Pacheco, RB

Ever since the team said Pacheco was the starter weeks ago, we really hadn’t seen it. Until Week 10. Pacheco had 16 rushes and was on the field for 56% of snaps. CEH did not have a touch this game and only played 4 snaps, so the torch has been officially passed. Pacheco still did not do much fantasy-wise with a lost fumble, but it appears to be him as the early down back while McKinnon takes the third down role going forward. You need to add him in most formats.

Week 10 stats: 6.20 points (16 att, 82 rush yds, fumble)

FAAB Bid: $7 – $12

Marquise Brown, WR

Hollywood is still highly owned in many leagues, still sporting a 75% ownership percentage despite having been IR’s weeks ago. Well he is nearing his return, and I was able to grab him in a league just this past week, so I would recommend checking the depths of your waiver wire and seeing if you can snag a guy like Hollywood on the cheap before the news drops that he is officially back.

Week 10 stats: N/A

FAAB Bid: $7 – $11

Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR

Deshaun Watson is just a couple weeks away from returning to live action, and DPJ has already looked good with Brissett under center. When Watson returns to this offense, you are going to wish you bought pieces of it now for cheap. This is the classic investing strategy, get the penny stocks now and hope they pop big. Week 10 stats: 12.40 points (9 tgts, 5 rec, 99 rec yds)

FAAB Bid: $6 – $12

Allen Robinson, WR

Cooper Kupp will have surgery on his ankle and the next man up is ARob. While he hasn’t been the ARob we expected, as the new top option at WR in the offense I would expect him to be a little more involved going forward. Skworonek and Van Jefferson and possibly even Odell may be trying to fight for some reps in the coming games, but ARob is the only other guy I trust at WR in this offense. Spend a few to snag him, but temper your expectations given the offensive limitations we’ve seen from LA this year.

Week 10 stats: 6.40 (6 tgts, 4 rec, 44 rec yds)

FAAB Bid: $7 – $11

Deshaun Watson, QB

Finally the end of the suspension is looming. If you stashed Watson the whole time… good for you. You’re crazy… but good for you. He is finally allowed to return to practice this week, and will be eligible to play in Week 13. He is a guy that should be picked up now, and even in 2QB leagues he still may be floating around the waiver wire. So hurry on over and stash him a couple weeks ahead of the rest of your league, because when he is on the field he is going to make an impact. I wouldn’t break the bank on him, as you still likely need to win a couple games to even make Weeks 13 and 14 matter before you can make a playoff run… but this is a move all the teams at the top of the league should be considering for their playoff/championship push.

Week 10 stats: N/A

FAAB Bid: $6 – $9

Parris Campbell, WR

Indy has been a nightmare this year to predict any sort of consistency out of, but ironically Parris Campbell has emerged as a reliable option the past few weeks, and has managed to do so under 2 different QBs. With Matt Ryan back under center and the Colts picking up a big win over the Raiders in Jeff Saturday’s first game as HC, I would look for more of the same going forward. They are working the run game more effectively than they have all season and Matt Ryan is operating off that and play action like a man half his age! Look for Campbell to continue to find the open space and make plays. The concern with him, as always, is his ability to stay healthy, so I wouldn’t break the bank on him, but a few bucks never hurt.

Week 10 stats: 17.10 points (9 tgts, 7 rec, 76 rec yds, TD)

FAAB Bid: $4 – $6

Trey McBride, TE

Ertz is officially done for the season, which burns a lot of fantasy teams who were enjoying his career Renaissance (including my teams), but luckliy for the Cardinals they prepared for this and drafted the heir apparent to their TE throne in Trey McBride. However, he has played sparingly this year, so he may need some time to get up to speed. For example, after Ertz was carted off, he saw 91% of snaps, but was an afterthought in the offense. This could be because of Colt McCoy under center, but either way, I wouldn’t expect him to dominate out the gate. But for Ertz owners in deep leagues with starting TEs hard to come by… I would spend a little bit more than usual on the freak athlete that is Trey McBride.

Week 10 stats: 1.20 points (1 tgt, 1 rec, 7 rec yds)

FAAB Bid: $3 – $7

KJ Hamler, WR

Jeudy goes down (again) and Hamler is next man up. Except for one small issue… he’s got a nagging hamstring injury he picked up last week in practice and missed the game in Week 10. He’s the most logical waiver pickup if he starts, but if he doesn’t you just burned your FAAB on a guy who can’t play and then goes back to having minimal value when Jeudy is definitely back on the field by the following week. Proceed with caution.

Week 10 stats: N/A (Injured)

FAAB Bid: $1 – $3

Kendall Hinton, WR

Jeudy goes down (again) and Hamler is next man up. Except for one small issue… he’s got a nagging hamstring injury he picked up last week in practice and missed the game in Week 10. He’s the most logical waiver pickup if he starts, but if he doesn’t you just burned your FAAB on a guy who can’t play and then goes back to having minimal value when Jeudy is definitely back on the field by the following week. Week 10 stats: 8.20 points (5 tgts, 4 rec, 62 rec yds)

FAAB Bid: $1 – $2
