The opportunity is definitely showing itself for Freeman recently, however he does little with it. Outside of TDs, he does not produce any fantasy relevant weeks and yet 50% of managers are starting him against Pittsburgh. While Pittsburgh was just beat down by Joe Mixon and Austin Ekeler, the Steelers have done a great job keeping RBs out of the endzone, only giving up 4 other TDs on the year. Saying Freeman isn’t on the same level as Mixon and Ekeler should be obvious, yet he is being looked at as an equal in projected scoring and is clearly one of the worst starting running backs in the league this year.
